To say Louis Alexander was passionate about improving and supporting learning curriculums would be an understatement. Throughout his career he developed numerous communication language courses and made significant contributions as the chair of the Council of Europe's committee on modern language learning teaching, creating the Common European Framework Reference which is still used today and adopted by all language systems worldwide.
Alongside these achievements, Louis Alexander also made it into the iconic Guinness Book of Records for selling the greatest number of books sold by an individual author in a single year in 1977 - a total of 4.7 million books worldwide!
